The Heck’s, a notable name in the Dutch hospitality industry from the 1930s to the late 1960s, is revived with a new design that honors its historical legacy. Located in the same building as the original, the updated Heck’s offers a cozier setting while maintaining its reputation for good and affordable food, drinks, and entertainment.
The design draws inspiration from the past, featuring a Parisian style infused with modern elements. Key interior features include luxurious stools, a decorative birdcage, romantic seating arrangements, stained glass details, a sun-room, and a Louvre-themed wall. Central to the space is an impressive lighting sculpture above a round bar, which serves as a focal point in the venue. This combination of historical references and contemporary touches aims to recreate the charm and appeal of the original Heck’s while offering a refreshed dining experience.
