The design and build of ’T Heemelrijck, a typical Jordanees eet cafe (Amsterdam dining cafe), began in response to a special request from a loyal customer. Opened on January 2, 2023, the restaurant recreates the ambiance of a historical dining establishment, reminiscent of a venue from 100 years ago. The interior features key traditional elements: Persian carpets on the tables, Delft blue plates on the walls, and an original 1800s bar from Molenbeek, Belgium. The bar, refurbished with a new beer tap installation, blends historical authenticity with modern functionality, ensuring it remains a unique and operational fixture for the foreseeable future.
