The Dublin House is a contemporary reinterpretation of a traditional Irish pub, emphasizing a deconstructed design concept. Originally a dark, smoky, and male-dominated space with numerous televisions and a pungent atmosphere, the venue was transformed to reflect a more modern and inclusive environment. The redesign preserved the essence of the old pub by incorporating as much of the original interior as possible, leading to a deconstructed aesthetic that blends old elements with new design. Key features include custom-made wallpapers, light color schemes, and nearly 90% recycled furniture, creating a fresh yet authentic ambiance. The pub is organized into four distinct rooms, each serving a unique function, which contributes to its versatility and appeal. The renovation has received positive feedback, including from Irish patrons, and The Dublin House has become a popular hotspot in Zwolle and beyond.
